There are a few scripted scenes from VAMP that didn't make it into the final cut of the movie. Some of these scenes were shot, but likely edited out for pacing reasons.
None of the deleted or omitted scenes alter the overall story of the film or a particular characters arc.
This scene takes place right before the trio of college boys arrive at the coffee shop where they encounter Snow, Maven and Dragon Girl. In their search for the elusive After Dark Club, the boys get lost and stop to ask a hooker for directions. She, in turn, inquires if they would like to go "bump in the night"...
This brief encounter made it's way into the original trailer for VAMP in '86.
An exciting sequence from the movie takes place in between the scene where Keith accelerates into the vacant parking spot outside The After Dark Club and Duncan's vamp-transformation in the back seat of the caddy.
A vampire security guard (played by legendary stunt actor and coordinator Dar Robinson) jumps onto the roof of the car and tears through the roof attacking Ameretto, who in turn takes a knife from her purse and cuts the vampire, temporarily disorientating him!
This deleted scene from VAMP takes place after Ameretto and Keith raid the pawn shop looking for weapons. Our heroes climb to the rooftop of a building that is under construction. Once on the roof they are confronted by vampires (including the security guard vampire) and their only means of escape is to slide down a large garbage chute into a construction bin!
A brief snippet of this deleted scene appears in the original movie trailer.
Arriving outside The After Dark Club, the colleges boys are confronted by the sewer-bum who tries to warn them off!
As they apporach the club, they meet Vlad at entrance and ask him when the club will open...
This scene would have played out after the boys encounter the hooker, but before they arrive at the cafe.
Conflicting reports suggest that this scene was shot, but omitted from the final cut of VAMP. After Keith's near-death experience with the runway elevator, he makes his escape from the nefarious hotel. As he is exiting the building he is confronted by an elderly hungarian couple, each armed with holy water and crucifixes, who mistake him for one of their
un-dead neighbors!
A startled Keith then returns to the club as played out in the theratrical release.
In an effort to cause a distraction, Amaretto confronts an impudent customer and hits him on the head with her drinks tray, so that Keith can gather up Duncan and the three can make an escape from the club. The rucus garners attention from nightclub staff and patrons.
Interestingly, Katrina has a much larger scripted presence during this scene, even taking to the stage to perform the nights closing number!
